VoxPro 4.2 requires the Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 or higher. VoxPro will run with .Net 1.1, but you will be unable to import or export files in WAV or MP3 format, and half of the usual effects in the Effects menu will be missing. These problems are rectified by installing a current version of the Microsoft .Net Framework.

To determine what version of the .Net Framework is installed on your computer, look in the Windows root folder at this location: C:\Windows\Microsoft.Net\Framework. A new subfolder is created there for every version of .Net installed. In the example below, we see that .Net Framework 2.0 is installed:
