VoxPro Teams with the Ryan Seacrest Foundation

Audion Labs is supporting the Ryan Seacrest Foundation (RSF), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to enhancing the quality
of life for seriously ill and injured children through programs
that utilize multimedia and interactive platforms to enlighten,
entertain and educate.

RSF’s first initiative is to build broadcast media centers, named THE
VOICE℠ , within pediatric hospitals for patients to explore the creative
realms of radio, television and new media. RSF’s aim is to contribute
positively to the healing process for children and their families during
their stay by developing these centers to bring an uplifting spirit to
the hospital community.

Two media centers have been built - the
first at Atanta Children's Hospital in Ryan's hometown of Atlanta, GA; and
second at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia also known as CHOP.
Audion Labs has donated VoxPro software and VoxPro control panels to each
of these installations.

In addition to having patients use the facilites to make in-house broadcasts the media centers will also reach out to the community and involve students
from local journalism schools, colleges and universities to provide
them with the opportunity to gain first hand experience in broadcasting,
programming and operating a multimedia center.

Three Good Reasons to Upgrade From V3 to V4

Each upgrade includes a new HASP HL USB dongle which allows you to move the dongle from machine to machine without re-registering it. Once your new dongle is installed a key code is applied to it making it the brain that runs the VoxPro software. Any computer with VoxPro 4.X installed on it will run once the HASP is plugged in.

Version 4 includes "auto-record". Auto-record
allows the user to rapidly record a series of separate files by simply
clicking the record button once for each new file. Each new record
command terminates the current recording, saves it with a default name,
then starts a new recording instantly. This feature also simplifies
VoxPro's interface with multi-line phone hybrid systems, which typically
send out only one pulse each time one line is dropped and the next is
picked up.

A
new Search function has been added (in the main File menu), allowing
file names to be searched for particular combinations. A search run by a
normal user searches through all folders to which that user has
access. A search run by the adminsitrator searches through all folders
in all accounts.

Upgrade price is $199.00 per license and includes the following:

Lastest version of VoxPro on CD ROM

HASP HL USB dongle

Complete install instructions

Complimentary UPS Ground shipping of your VoxPro upgrade

Complimentary UPS Return Ground shipping of your original Parallel Port dongle

To order your upgrade(s) download the upgrade order form here and FAX it to our toll free line (lower 48 State only); or scan and email to sales@audionlabs.com.

4.X continues with great additional features

A new search function makes searching for file names a snap. Search all user accounts and folders in Admin. mode. A headroom slider above the VU Meters allows very low level signals to be clearly seen and edited. The moving slider also changes the scale on the VU meters while the 0dB point on the scale corresponds to the top of the range of the edit window. Noise reduction has been added that removes hiss or hum.

Additional notes on this release:

We discovered that user preference settings were not being saved in 4.2.07. This is now fixed.

The AutoRecord option in the Settings menu is now sticky.

Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 is now included with the installer.

A bug which could cause VoxPro to crash when a file was edited down to zero length has been fixed.

VoxPro 4.2.07

4.2 is primarily a maintenance upgrade to ensure compliance with the Microsoft Vista operating system. On Vista, VoxPro user files are now stored in the \Users\Public folder, since access to the Program Files folder has tightened up.

A new feature called "auto-record" has been introduced. Auto-record allows the user to rapidly record a series of separate files by simply clicking the record button once for each new file. Each new record command terminates the current recording, saves it with a default name, then starts a new recording instantly. This feature also simplifies VoxPro's interface with multi-line phone hybrid systems, which typically send out only one pulse each time one line is dropped and the next is picked up.

VoxPro no longer attempts to automatically share the user folder to the local network. This was creating problems because the shared folder would get misnamed in certain instances. HTML instructions on creating a network share are now included with the installation program.

4.1.21

Long titles and descriptions in RSS channel and item fields (in the publication wizard) no longer crash the program.

The copy-to-clipboard function in the Markers window works correctly now.

A bug which could cause the last second of an exported file to be repeated has been fixed.

Multiple control panels may now be hooked up to one VoxPro workstation. (Requires RC500 control panels.)

The active file may now be deleted from the control panel by holding down the Control key and then pressing Delete.

The Administrator's AGC menu command is no longer disabled in mono mode.

Users should no longer be encountering a HASP Envelope Error that appeared with version 4.1.17.

VoxPro 4.1.17

Changes to audio files in account folders are now accurately updated on remote VoxPro workstations logged into that account. A prior bug prevented file deletion and some editing operations from showing up in the file list for users sharing one account from different VoxPro workstations.

The progress bar is now accurate when exporting multiple files in MP3 format.
