Installing VoxPro

Top  Previous  Next

VoxPro has the following System Requirements:

Pentium III or higher
Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7
Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 or higher
DirectX 9.0 or higher
USB port or RS-232 (for optional Control Panel)
USB port for HASP dongle
SVGA Monitor 800 X 600 Resolution or higher, 16-bit color (high color)

Sound Card Requirements:

16-bit Audio
44.1KHz or 48 KHZ in/out
WDM driver with full DirectSound support

Download the software from our website at www.audionlabs.com or insert the CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. If the installer does not start right away, double-click the downloaded file or browse to your CD-ROM drive and double-click the setup.exe file. Follow the wizard instruction for installing the software.

After installation is complete, attach your HASP hardware key (dongle) to any open USB port. The hardware wizard should recognize and install the device without errors. (If you are upgrading from VoxPro version 3.2 or 3.3, you will see that the HASP used by version 4 is not the same! You cannot use your version 3 HASP with VoxPro version 4.)

New Installations Only Attach your control panel if you have one. If you have ordered the serial control panel, no driver is required. The USB control panel requires a driver, which is located in the Control Panel Drivers folder on your VoxPro 4.0 CD-ROM. When you plug in the USB controller, the Windows Hardware Wizard will prompt you for the location of the drivers. You must direct the Wizard to the Control Panel Drivers folder on the CD-ROM. Do not allow it to install the default Windows drivers!

Note   We have also included the full Microsoft DirectX9c setup, in the event that you are running an older version. VoxPro requires DirectX 8.0 or higher.
