D Series FAQ
The ON lamp is flashing on my console. Why?
The flashing ON button usually indicates a null problem with the fader position - i.e., it has been sent via automation to a particular setting but has not gotten to the right position. The first step in troubleshooting this issue would be to replace the motorized fader, as the likely cause is that the motor is faling.
How do I change the DR-9 director panel to the same subnet as my D-series console?
One of our D-8 surface’s fader channel has an issue with audio playing out low for a moment and then comes back to normal level. The fader knob does not physically move during the time this happens. We moved the same source to the next fader channel and we've not had a problem since. What would suggest to troubleshoot/fix this fader channel issue.
I have a t54 file and need the procedure for updating the Dimension Three Surface from t52.
